St Margaret's Church, Harpsden
Welcome to the website of St Margaret’s Church, Harpsden-cum-Bolney. The church serves the worshipping needs of a thriving and friendly community, drawn from the village of Harpsden and the surrounding area. It is one part of the United Benefice of Shiplake with Dunsden and Harpsden, in the Diocese of Oxford.
In this website, we aim to provide information useful to all those who have an interest – newcomers, visitors, members of the congregation, and those who administer the activities of the church and the community. We welcome your comments and opinions on what you find here, or fail to find, and you can submit them for publication through the Comment page. Similarly, on the pages devoted to activity areas and groups, you can use the facilities to communicate arrangements, changes and other information, if you find this convenient, or you can communicate via email or telephone (see the Contacts page).

The Benefice has been in interregnum following the retirement of the Reverend Dr Martin Connop Price in November 2009. We are now delighted to announce the appointment of the Reverend Paul Bradish as our new Rector. Paul will take up his post in the Autumn, and we very much look forward to giving Paul and his family the warmest possible welcome to our Benefice. Read more …
During this period a Benefice Office is operating, located in the Rector’s vestry in Shiplake Church. Voluntary staff are dealing with the administrative aspects of baptisms, weddings and funerals, and will handle general enquiries. They can be contacted by telephone or email as shown in the Contacts section, or through the Benefice Office website.

These topic pages can be used to communicate arrangements and other information which you wish others to see.
